Collaboration Labs · Purpose before participation

Work together around a charter, not around a feed.

A Lab exists to produce a reviewable institutional artefact. Its question, roles, evidence duties, time boundary and output are visible before participation opens.

LAB-01 / Charter

Public Authority Trace Lab

Can a reusable trace expose authority, evidence, discretion and remedy across an intelligent public system?

Required roles

  1. Convenor
  2. Domain jurist
  3. Technical examiner
  4. Evidence steward
  5. Public-interest reviewer

Participation gates

  1. Verified invitation
  2. Conflict disclosure
  3. Source custody agreement
  4. Moderation and appeal acceptance

Defined output

A reviewable responsibility map, source ledger, counter-position and institutional action note.

Current access

Charter inspection is public. Working materials and member identity remain inside a protected review environment when constituted.

No open intake yet.

Invitation, identity, custody and appeal workflows are not built yet, so the Lab door is closed. Opening it before those exist would collect contributions the Commons could not yet protect or correct — so the charter is published first and the door follows.

Collaboration does not have to wait for that door. The research programme receives competing doctrine, counterexamples and criticism at jus-automica.digital; the public engagement environment is at jus-smart.digital; and a serious institutional question can be brought directly through the official record at ksc-jusnrem.io.

Connected research · Public drafts and proposals

JUS.automica develops the jurisprudential foundation: how legal authority remains answerable when intelligence is distributed across people, institutions and computational systems. The Commons helps readers examine its propositions, sources and applied research.
